Italian Opera: Il Trovatore
Opera in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi, fully staged with live singing and orchestra, sung in Italian with English supertitles. Conducted by Michael Moran and directed by Frederick Winthrop. Performers: Cecilia X. Cai, Xiaohua Song, Frederick Winthrop, Julio Ferrari, Kenneth Lu, Carlet Langford, Guanhao Qiao, You-Wen Yi, Domenica Campanella, CLAA Chorus, Orchestra, and dancers.
Il Trovatore, composed by Giuseppe Verdi, one of the most celebrated Italian operas of all time. Brotherhood, love, and vengeance make up for a classic Italian opera story, along with passionate music that are familiar to the audience.
We are offering three performances in two beautiful venues. Saturday performances on 3/18/2023 and 3/25/2023 in Jackson Theatre of Smith Center at Ohlone College in Fremont, and Sunday performance on 4/2/2023 in historical Carrington Hall at Sequoia High School in Redwood City.
