ITALIAN MUSIC NIGHTS AT LIBRERIA PINO
Two nights of live Italian music at Libreria Pino featuring Mbrascatu. Mbrascatu blends dynamics ranging from delicate to explosive; expressive Italian lyrics; hook-laden melodies; inventive arrangements; and energetic rhythms to dance to. The band has performed extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest and Italy, delighting audiences at the hottest music venues, outdoor festivals.
Mbrascatu was formed in 2010 in Portland, OR by singer-songwriter and guitar player Andrea Algieri (Calabria). They recorded their debut album, Mbrascatu in 2012, followed by Tempo (2014), Elementi (2016) and Tutto Cambia (2021).
Co-presented by the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco and Libreria Pino.
