Israel, Iran, and the US: From International Law to Lawfare
What’s next for Israel and the U.S. following the preemptive strikes on Iran’s nuclear program? As events on the ground in the Middle East continue to unfold in real-time, there are also significant long-term ramifications for Israel and its supporters worldwide. American Friends of Bar-Ilan University is hosting a timely webinar with Prof. Avi Bell — a member of Bar-Ilan University’s Faculty of Law, a professor at University of San Diego School of Law, and a Senior Fellow at the Kohelet Policy Forum. Prof. Bell will provide key insights on the conflict with Iran from the vantage point of international law, the ongoing and potentially forthcoming lawfare campaigns against Israel, and how Israel and its supporters can respond to legal threats. “Lawfare” is the strategic use of legal systems and institutions to achieve military or political objectives.
