AZPM Screening and Panel Discussion Pima County's Percent of Arizona 3rd grade students who scored Proficient or Highly Proficient on the Arizona Academic Standards Assessment (AASA) stands at 37.4%. Join us for a discussion on early childhood education and 3rd grade reading to learn how we can make a difference in helping our kids and community succeed. Moderated by Arizona Illustrated host, Tom McNamara and joined by Jill Castek, UofA Professor of Education, Sharon O’Brien, CEO of LIteracy Connects and Lori Masseur, Directof or Early Learning at Read on Arizona.
