Christmas celebrations were disguised as other celebrations, and the colonists disguised themselves, too. We will gather by the bonfire for song, revelry and a raucous mummers’ play just as the early Americans did. Learn how celebrating Christmas could land you a fine, a day in the stocks or even jail! This is a great way to start the holiday season and to begin the revelry--at the oldest house in Acton.
