Intro to Stand Up Comedy Workshop- 4 week session at The Stage. Cameron Park CA
This course consists of four closed sessions designed to prepare students to write and perform a polished five-minute set. The workshop concludes with a student showcase performance. Participants will explore everything from fundamental writing habits and stage presence to exploring personal originality and general comedy scene etiquette.
Taught by John Morris Ross who has been performing stand-up comedy for over two decades and is a regular feature in the region within Live Nation's network of clubs, including the San Francisco Punch Line, Sacramento Punch Line, and Cobb's Comedy Club. Ross has been featured on Comedy Central Radio and was a finalist in Comedy Central's "Up Next" search.
