On Saturday, November 4th at 2:30 PM, Notable Works will be presenting “Innovations Voiced through Melody and Verse” at the Warwick Public Library. This event will feature poets: Carol Anderheggen, David Dragone, Melissa Guillet, Thomas Lane, Pat Larose, Carol Schene and Jim Van Gieson with readings from Voices of The Earth: The Future of Our Planet III. There will also be a special presentation by Rebecca Reeves, Stormwater Education and Outreach Coordinator of the Audubon Society of Rhode Island and Stormwater Innovation Center, who will demonstrate the strategies for improving urban water quality through the use of better stormwater practices. The Storm Water Innovation Center, which is located in Roger Williams Park, is the result of an extensive partnership between some of Rhode Island’s leading environmental groups such as the Audubon Society of Rhode Island, The Nature Conservancy and the City of Providence Parks Department to name a few. Also, Notable Works is so proud to present the Notable Works’ Ensemble: Beth Schapira, soprano; Noreen Inglesi, composer and vocalist; Teresa Gervais, flute; Alison Shea, piano; Maria Bilyeu, cello and Greg Berger, drums. There will be an open mic for poetry and complimentary refreshments will be served.
