Inner City Muslim Action Network (IMAN) Chicago Festival
On July 27, 2024 IMAN will demonstrate the world as it could be by way of a mini festival that centers, reclamation, reimagining, and redemption in the newly developed Go Green Griot plaza, located at 63rd & Racine in Englewood, a previously abandoned lot in the historically disinvested neighborhood. This outdoor celebration, one of 18 others across the country as part of Arts for EveryBody, will feature live music, storytelling, dance fresh foods, cooking demonstrations, movement classes, a community drum circle, screen printing, visual art activations, and will take place from 2 - 8 pm.
