Join us at the North Branch of the Hunterdon County Library for a presentation on Inland Flooding on Wed, Apr 12 at 7:00pm. Bill Kibler, Director of Policy for the Raritan Headwaters Association will lead the discussion. After New Jersey was battered by Tropical Storm Ida, "inland" communities were hit hard by flash flooding. The deadly hurricane brought tornadoes, high winds, flooding and more to New Jersey residents and businesses. These storms are yet another reminder that our shore and inland areas are not prepared for climate change and sea-level rise.
This is a hybrid event, co-Sponsored by the Hunterdon Warren and Central Jersey Groups of the NJ Sierra Club. Unable to attend in person? Join us on Zoom: https://act.sierraclub.org/events/details?formcampaignid=7013q000002O9vCAAS
