Indigenous Peoples Book Club: Five Little Indians
Please join Rochester Indigenous Peoples' Day Committee to discuss Five Little Indians by Cree author Michelle Good, about five children taken from their place in this world after surviving the Canadian residential school system. Together we will learn more about the history of "Indian" boarding/residential schools. We will also discuss Orange Shirt Day, which is observed on September 30th as a day of remembrance to honor the thousands of Indigenous children who never returned home. Registration required.
