I’m Afraid of Men Book Reading and Q&A by Vivek Shraya Sunday, September 23, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Raised as the child of South Asian immigrants in Canada, a trans artist explores how masculinity was imposed on her as a boy and continues to haunt her as a girl--and how we might reimagine gender for the twenty-first century. Vivek Shraya will read and answer questions about her new book, I’m Afraid of Men.
