Join us for a fun and informative live music program highlighting 15 prolific women who left their indelible mark on the music world, forging new paths for future stars and securing their place in music history. From their creative and artistic contributions to their struggle and sacrifice for equal pay and recognition, Kirsten Thien covers the early innovators and pioneers, as well as contemporary superstars from the past four decades, sharing some of her personal journey as a professional touring and recording musician. Part concert, part history, with a dose of behind-the-scenes stories and little-known facts, Kirsten is accompanied by Erik Boyd on bass and guitar for this entertaining and educational program.
