Cost: $10 admission. Register to attend in advance here on Eventbrite and the standard $5 skate rental fee is waived*. Discounted entry available for non-skating attendees.

*Late registration allows a $2 discount on the standard skate rental fee.
HPR Gen Listen is partnering with Sk8 Ambitions to invite you to a family skate date at the Kapolei Inline Hockey Arena on Sunday, January 14 from 4PM to 6PM! Or, join us for adult skate, agest 17+ from 6PM to 9PM.
Get rollin’ and groovin’ to a live DJ set your favorite HPR DJs (lineup to be announced). Be sure to stop by the HPR Gen Listen table to meet station staff, members and volunteers and learn more about Hawaiʻi Public Radio!
This family skate session takes place during the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Block Party in Kapolei. On January 13 & 14, SK8 Ambitions and Afro Aloha are inviting members of the community to the grounds of the Kapolei Inline Hockey Arena (KIHA) for a two-day festival that will include entertainment, music, vendors, food trucks and more to celebrate and honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Learn more about the festival (entry to the festival is an additional admission fee) at https://www.afroaloha.com/mlkjrblockparty
Come early to enjoy the festival and stay for KIHA’s Sunday 4-6PM family skate session, or join in the adults only (ages 17+) skate session from 6PM to 9PM!
