Houdini's The Grim Game!
On the night of October 31st we are having a night of Houdini! Starting at 7pm we have our sideshow performing Houdini style escapes! Handcuffs! Strait jackets! Magic! and more before we play our featured presentation of The Grim Game! A silent film where Houdini plays a man framed for murder! He uses his escapology knowledge to attempt to catch the real killer! This film is iconic for many reasons! In the film there is a scene where Houdini's character is climbing from one airplane to another in mid-flight. The planes get too close, and we see Hollywood's first filmed in-air collision (completely unscripted). This film was considered lost for several decades before the film was found in the Houdini Family estates! Throughout the film we will have the current president of The Society of American Magicians (John Sturk) playing live piano music! This historic event should not be missed! We are asking a suggested donation of $31 for admission and this event is BYOB with a $5 corkage fee.
