Kick off summer with joy, connection, and celebration at Hot Shabbat Fun! — Temple Rodef Shalom’s beloved family-friendly Shabbat experience.
Join us in Falls Church, VA for an unforgettable outdoor evening of fun and community, open to all in the Greater Washington Jewish community. Whether you're a member, guest, or visiting for the first time, this event blends summer excitement with meaningful tradition.
The celebration begins at 4:30 PM with carnival-style games, bounce houses, beach balls, and inflatables — perfect for kids and kids-at-heart. Come in your favorite summer attire and enjoy a relaxed, playful atmosphere with your TRS community.
At 5:30 PM, gather for a mouthwatering BBQ dinner featuring craft cocktails for adults and vegan-friendly options.
As evening sets in, experience a soulful outdoor Shabbat service at 6:30 PM, led by TRS clergy. Rooted in tradition yet welcoming to all, the service offers space for spiritual reflection in the warmth of community and nature.
We’ll conclude the night with a festive oneg dessert under the stars — a sweet ending to a sweet evening.
