Homeschool History Day: Sharecropping
Learn about the daily lives and struggles of newly freed people of color living in South Carolina following the end of the Civil War. Participate in a sharecropping simulation to see what life was like and to see if you could have succeeded as a sharecropper. Homeschool History Day programs feature a field trip experience, a chance to go through the Museum, and an educational activity. Recommended for ages 6 to 12. Reservations required.
