Harvest House, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to champion hope and transform lives through supportive housing, addiction recovery programs and food security, has announced its 2025 Home Again Luncheon. The organization’s signature fundraising event will take place on Thursday, February 20, 11:30 a.m. at Michael’s On East (1212 South East Ave., Sarasota). The program will shine a spotlight on two inspiring stories of clients who found safety and a brighter future for themselves and their children through Harvest House. Proceeds from the event will benefit Harvest House programs that serve more than 800 adults and children each year who are facing various challenges, including mental illness, substance abuse, physical illness, domestic and community violence, poverty, and insecure housing. In 2024, Harvest House served 576 households, comprising more than 800 individuals, through its housing and community-based case management. Cornerstone Presenting Sponsors are the Community Foundation of Sarasota County and Gulf Coast Community Foundation. The fundraising is being supported by a $100,000 match from Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation and Jerry and Fay Bainbridge. Tickets are $50 and sponsorships are still available.
