River Walk Culinary Adventure Tours, led by Rio Magazine's (the River Walk's official magazine) food and drink writer, Kimberly Suta, is offering a Holi-Dine (walking) Culinary Tour on December 19th from 6 to 9 pm featuring favorite stops on and near the famous River Walk. PLEASE NOTE: The cost of your ticket covers the tour guide fee. Guests are responsible for choosing and paying for their own food and drinks. 1st Stop: Drinks at The Esquire Tavern (This is where we'll meet) This first stop at the historic Esquire Tavern, located upstairs along the River Walk, is known for their speakeasy vibe and craft cocktails. Options abound such as a CLASSIC OLD FASHIONED, BEXAR HUG (Blanco Tequila, guava, fresh lime juice, sparkling wine) and specialty Holiday Cocktails. Next, we take a stroll along the River Walk amidst the hundreds of thousands of beautiful Christmas lights on our way to... 2nd Stop: Main Course at Boudro's Texas Bistro Boudro's is one of the River Walk's premier restaurants offering an expansive menu featuring South Texas cuisine, such as BOUDREAUX’S SHRIMP AND GRITS, FILET OF BEEF TENDERLOIN & GRILLED JUMBO SHRIMP CHURRASCO and POLLO ASADO. Guests also love their popular Prickly Pear Margaritas and table side Guacamole. 3rd Stop: Dessert at Kilwins Chocolate Shop It's definitely not the holidays without a little chocolate and where better to enjoy dessert than at this wonderland of holiday delights, known for their premium chocolates, gourmet hot cocoa, handmade ice cream & other confections.
