Join Us for a Unique Experience Blending Nature, Spirituality, and Connection!
Explore Mussel Rock Beach with us, a breathtaking stretch of coastline at the Pacifica/Daly City line. Known for its coastal bluffs, stunning Pacific Ocean views, and spectacular sunsets, Mussel Rock is also a fascinating formation and a popular spot for hang gliders. On clear days, you might even glimpse the elusive Farallon Islands.
Hike and Meditation
Enjoy a scenic hike guided by local Buddhist monks from Dharma Treasury Temple, a branch of Bodhi Light International (BLI). Whether you’re new to meditation or an experienced practitioner, our trained teachers will help you build a solid foundation and overcome any challenges. In American Chan meditation, we focus on self-improvement and personal growth in all areas of life. With dedication and guidance, you’ll deepen your Samadhi (concentration) and notice positive changes in your mental and physical health, productivity, creativity, relationships, and problem-solving skills.
After the Hike
We’ll gather at Rosalind Bakery (450 Manor Plaza, Pacifica, CA 94044) for a meditation workshop. Enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious pastries at one of the best bakeries in town! The bakery is located inside a mall next to Safeway, with plenty of parking available.
Engage with Our Monks
Feel free to ask questions and engage in casual conversations about spiritual practices and meditation with our local Buddhist monks.
