Hidden Figures Zine Night: One Community One Books
Create and read zines about underground bands, artists, and dreamers.
Creatives don't have to be widely known to make a great impact on their community.
Join us in the Loft as we read about "hidden figures": underground artists and thinkers whose work may be below the radar, but are worth learning about.
You can then create a nonfiction zine about an individual whose art, music, or activism resonates with you, whether it's a person in your life or someone you admire from a distance.
Zine making materials and mini-biographies on various individuals will be provided. No registration is required, and no prior skills are needed.
