Across Sevier County, and throughout Tennessee, too many veterans who once served our nation with courage now struggle to find a place to call home. Operation Vet Rescue is on a mission to change that — one veteran, one home, and one community at a time. Heroes Rising: A Mission to End Veteran Homelessness is a virtual fundraising event rooted right here in Sevier County. This powerful online gathering will unite local supporters, faith groups, civic leaders, and compassionate citizens who believe no hero should be left behind. Together, we’ll raise awareness and funds to support veterans facing homelessness in our own community. Through moving stories, live interviews, and firsthand accounts from local veterans, you’ll hear how Operation Vet Rescue is transforming lives — providing emergency housing, food assistance, mental health support, and long-term pathways to stability and self-sufficiency. This virtual event will highlight the urgent needs of Sevier County’s homeless veteran population while celebrating the resilience, courage, and strength of those we serve.
