This Event has Passed
This is a FREE event, open to ALL. We will be celebrating & supporting women-owned businesses in Santa Cruz County.
This is also a showcase & completion of the first stage of the “Empowering Through Lens” project that was initially funded by the Santa Cruz Arts Council.
These funds made it possible for us to support 5 women-owned BIPOC businesses with free photo sessions to uplift and highlight their art & endeavors. We will showcase these incredible women through imagery at the event, and we hope to raise funds to continue this project into the future…

More about the "Empowering Through Lens" Project:
Empowering Through Lens: Fostering Diversity and Vision in Entrepreneurial Women:
Our mission for the "Empowering Through Lens" project is to uplift BIPOC businesswomen, artists, and entrepreneurs through the artistry of photography. We seek to catalyze change by providing free photo sessions that will enable these women to visually express their unique aspirations. By amplifying their voices we aim to break down barriers, inspire innovation, and cultivate a more equitable landscape for entrepreneurship. Through this initiative, we envision a world where photography serves as a powerful tool for female empowerment, promoting diversity, and ultimately collective success for BIPOC women and their entrepreneurial endeavors. As a project completion, we will host a business networking event and art exhibit. This event will also showcase 5 pre-selected businesswomen through imagery and raise money for the ongoing project fund.
