Hellbender on the River
The Cumberland River Compact’s annual benefit event, Hellbender on the River, will be happening at the Neuhoff District of Germantown on May 28 for live music, river views, local food, and a celebration of all things water conservation— including the rare Appalachian eastern hellbender salamander.
All proceeds of Hellbender on the River benefit the work of the Cumberland River Compact, including stream restoration, mine land reforestation, depaving, youth education, and more.
This year’s event will feature tunes from indie folk/Americana band Wily, Mexican food from Mijo Gordito, an open bar, and a tasting of local whiskeys from Ingram Distillery.
