Heavy Heavy Heavy: Opening Reception
The opening reception will be held from 7 to 9 PM on September 5 with light refreshments from Tito’s Handmade Vodka. An optional private listening session, exploring the sound elements of the exhibit, will be held from 6 to 7 PM before the show opens (RSVP required)
WHAT'S ON VIEW?
Through hand built ceramic sculptures, welded steel structures, soundscapes, and songs, Emily explores the weight of modern humanity through both playful and dark forms. These pieces offer a reflection of globalization, societal trajectory and everyday life. Curated by Jane Hervey, Heavy Heavy Heavy simultaneously reflects the journey of Austin-based multidisciplinary artists like Emily No Good—weaving long, collaborative and iterative relationships through our city’s local culture.
