Heart to Art: A Family Tye-Dye Experience
Create wearable memories in this colorful parent-and-child workshop designed for kids ages 8 and up! You'll learn how to fold, tie, and dye a heart-shaped design on a T-shirt - plus pick up a few ancient hippie secrets to make your creations bright, bold, and long-lasting.
Each person will receive everything they need: pre-washed and soda ash-soaked T-shirts, vibrant dyes, applicators, gloves, and guidance every step of the way. We'll show you how to place the dye for eye-catching results - and help you turn your heart into art.
Please wear clothes and shoes you don't mind getting messy - the dye is permanent, and fun is guaranteed.
At registration, you'll be able to choose shirt styles and sizes for both child and adult (ladies' V-neck or unisex S-5XL for adults; youth sizes available for kids).
This is a great bonding activity for creative duos - leave with a finished shirt and shared memories you'll both treasure!
