HDSA Team Hope Walk
The Huntington’s Disease Society of America is excited to announce the 2025 Team Hope Walk Oklahoma to be held on May 31st at Guthrie Green in Tulsa. Team Hope events represent the largest local opportunity for members of the HD community to come together with friends, family members, neighbors and the community at large to raise necessary awareness and funds to support HDSA. Huntington’s disease (HD) is a fatal genetic disorder that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. It deteriorates a person’s physical and mental abilities during their prime working years and has no cure. The folk singer, Woody Guthrie, passed away from Huntington's disease. His wife, Marjorie Guthrie, was the founder of HDSA.
There will also be a raffle at the walk with great prizes to raise awareness for HD!
