Climb aboard the HAUNTED TRAIN for a spooky ride through the haunted forest at Ardenwood Historic Farm in Fremont. This ride is designed especially for families with children under 12. Live actors supply the fun and you will encounter the famous Witch of Ardenwood and other characters. The Haunted Woods is full of colorful Halloween displays, huge skeletons, giant pumpkins, and other surprises. The Pumpkin Lady will once again provide us with giant carved pumpkins to enjoy each weekend.
The Haunted Train has been supplying Halloween fun for families for over 30 years. It is the only nighttime Halloween event appropriate for children of all ages. Nothing will jump out or frighten young riders. The Haunted Train will operate the two weekends before Halloween: October 16, 17, 18; and 23, 24, 25. Trains will run every 30 minutes between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday nights; and between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Sunday nights.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Because the ride is at night, for safety reasons every child age 6 and under must sit on an adult's lap. The ticket price is $19.50 for all ages 3 and up; ages 2 and under are free (all fees included).
