An introduction to the basics of working with clay, from sculpting to molding. Through hands-on activities and simple techniques, explore texture, shape, and form. Make clay animal figures, fun shapes, and little sculptures while developing fine motor skills and using imagination. Clay pieces will not be food or beverage safe. They will be underglazed and fired, but not clear coated with a shiny glaze.
Online registration closes three business days before class begins. You may also call 262-636-9177 to check for class availability, and to register, Mondays through Saturdays, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Classes are held at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine.
