Hamilton County Veterans Appreciation Day
Hamilton County Veterans and their families are invited to an event at Great American Ball Park for a day to show support and gratitude for those who have served our country. The Hamilton County Board of Commissioners, Hamilton County Veterans Service Commission, DAV, and many Veteran community volunteers and organizations are collaborating on this event.
Enjoy music, free food, and activities for the whole family. Activities include: free admission to the Hall of Fame, free tours of Great American Ball Park, wiffleball, carnival games, batting cages, speed pitch, visits with the mascots, and more. At registration you will also be entered in to an exclusive giveaway raffle for those in attendance. Giveaways include tickets to local museums and attractions, sporting events, special gift baskets. Raffle winners will be announced throughout the day.
Over 50 resource partners will be sharing a wide range of services that Hamilton County has to offer, encompassing organizations in various categories such as Health & Wellness, Career & Entrepreneurship, Legal Services, Educational Programs, Housing, Financial Assistance, and much more. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore and learn about numerous resources available in the community. Additionally, Veterans can get all their questions answered regarding VA benefits and claims, as well as discover other valuable services and support systems specifically designed to assist Veterans in the community. Whether you are seeking information about health and wellness options, career advancement, networking, or small business opportunities, legal services assistance, educational programs, housing solutions, or financial support, this event promises to provide comprehensive guidance and support for all attendees.
This event honors Hamilton County's thriving veteran community while also providing them with opportunities to connect with direct services and enjoy a day of celebration and camaraderie. Hamilton County Veterans Appreciation Day is free, but registration is required to secure exclusive benefits including: Complimentary parking in the Central Riverfront Garage (Validation provided at registration). Free food vouchers for each veteran and their family members!
