Hair of the Dog New Year's Day Brunch at LG's Bar & Kitchen
LG’s Bar & Kitchen in Old Town is serving up the perfect cure for the holiday hangover with their “Hair of the Dog Brunch” on New Year’s Day from 11am-2pm. Guests can choose from a selection of brunch entrees and pair them with bottomless mimosas for $35 or beer buckets ($20 for domestic, $25 for imports and Nutrls) to keep the celebration going. Brunch options include the Smothered Burrito filled with egg scramble, bacon, breakfast potatoes, crema, pico de gallo, red or green salsa, and queso fresco, or the Chicago Hash with two eggs, Italian sausage, peppers, mushrooms, giardiniera, breakfast potatoes, and a cheese blend. For classic favorites, try the Eggs Benedict or Biscuits & Gravy, made with two eggs, country sausage gravy, buttermilk biscuits, and thick-cut bacon. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
