The Elmwood Hall Danbury Senior Center, The Danbury Commission on Aging & Habitat for Humanity present a talk on Housing
Join Housatanic Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Kristen Keil as she leads a discussion on their Aging in Place Project as well as their Housing Plus Program. Housatonic Habitat for Humanity's Aging in Place and Housing Plus programs are designed to support low-income seniors and veterans in our community, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their homes. Through our Aging in Place program, we bring together a dedicated team of skilled volunteers to provide minor home repairs that prevent accidents like slips and falls, helping seniors maintain their independence and avoid hospital stays. Sponsored by the commission on Aging.
This program is open to all Danbury Senior Center Members age 60+. Registration is required. Membership to The Danbury Senior Center is FREE.
