Guthrie Bell Productions presents The Seapods 2/11 Eve Party
The Seapods, featuring Max Verna, Tom Pirozzi, Brian Mangini and Ted Marotta are 4 of the 5 original touring members of the seminal 90’s Jamband, Ominous Seapods. The band has reformed and are currently playing select dates around the Northeast. Their shows include all the favorites in the Seapod’s original catalog along with a few choice covers and some brand-new songs as well. Ominous Seapods built a dedicated fanbase by touring the nation relentlessly throughout the 1990’s and into the early 2000’s. They played such notable venues as Red Rocks in Colorado, the Wetlands Preserve in NYC, and the House of Blues in LA, Boston and Chicago as well countless large outdoor festivals. The band officially ended in 2001 but have played a handful of reunion shows since that time. One member, Dana Monteith moved to Australia in 2011 but in 2023 the remaining 4 members officially reformed as “The Seapods”. Their music is known for its tight grooves, intense jams, catchy hooks and quirky humor. Each live Seapods show is a purely unique experience that captures the essence of their touring 90’s years but still evolves as a new exciting project! The Seapods played an epically mutated, sold-out show last year at Lark Hall, and can’t wait to get back there and do it again. This year will be on the eve of a sacred day in the band’s history, February 11th. Anything is possible at a show like this and you don’t want to miss it!
