Gulf Coast Artists’ Alliance presents “Summer Heat”
“Summer Heat”, a juried exhibition resulting from an Open Call to artists, will be on display at GCAA ArtWorks Gallery for the summer. This sizzling show features 22 Tampa Bay artists whose diverse techniques make a fascinating collection. Some of the media used in the show include cold wax, collage, pastel, screenprint, encaustic, photography, even “trash”. Traditional oil and acrylic paintings are spectacular, as well.
Seeing this show is a great way to come inside and enjoy the summer heat!
Summer Heat is on view July 10 through August 30 at GCAA ArtWorks, 5546 First Avenue, N, St. Petersburg. A reception will be held during the July Art Walk July 12 from 5 to 9 pm with refreshments and live music by smooth keyboardist Eddie Garrido. There is plenty of free parking, and the Sunrunner bus stop is only 2 blocks away at 58th Street. Admission is free and open to the public.
