Guild of Middle Eastern Dance Fall Performance: Together We Raq
The 2025 Fall Dance Performance, “Together We Raq” is our 18th fundraiser to support the important work of Women’s Advocates.
Lobby opens 4:00 pm. Come early to sip, socialize and shop our raffle!
Our community of dancers, both professional and avocational, come together to present this beautiful dance in its many styles and
expressions. From traditional Middle Eastern dance to modern fusion to shimmering raqs sharqi, you’ll enjoy 20+ soloists and
groups. Each dancer portrays their unique self-expression inspired by music, with lots of sparkle and color.

Note: “Raqs” - in Arabic means dance - is used as a prefix to various forms of Arabic dance: raqs sharqi (Eastern dance), raqs baladi
(country dance), and raqs assaya (cane dance).
