Growing Old Disgracefully
On Sunday, November 19, 2023 The Wayne Public Library will hold a musical program in the Meeting Room entitled: “Growing Old Disgracefully”. Doors open at 1:30 pm and the program runs from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. This program is free and open to the public. The Wayne Public Library is a barrier free building.
“Growing Old Disgracefully” was founded by long time West Milford, NJ resident Larry Mandon and his friend Eric Hendrickson, both veterans of the NJ bluegrass scene. This band is made the old- fashioned way with acoustic instruments and voices. They play songs from the masters of Bluegrass along with some of the newer Bluegrass tunes destined to become classics. Rich harmonies, barn burning instrumentals, tender ballads and classic Bluegrass songs are their specialty. Band members are Larry Mandon: guitar and vocals, Erick Henrickson: banjo and vocals, Brad Sicotte: mandolin and vocals and Susan Donoghue joining them on fiddle and vocals.
