Groveland Food Shelf Benefit
Classic Film to Benefit Groveland Food Shelf
The 24th annual Groveland Food Shelf Benefit will be on Sunday, November 2 at the Historic Heights Theatre.
This year’s film will be "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" from 1971 starring Gene Wilder. The event begins at 1:00PM and will be proceeded by an organ concert on the "Heights Mighty Wurlitzer" by Ed Copland.
The Heights Theatre is located at 3951 Central Ave NE in Columbia Heights, MN. Sharon Able, director of Groveland, will speak briefly before the show. You may bring a non-perishable food item to the event to help as well.
All seats are $15. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Heights Theater website at www.heighttheater.com.
Groveland, located in Minneapolis, currently serves over 5000 clients with emergency food supplies and has been supported by several downtown congregations since the early 1970’s.
