Kincora will host a special Back-to-School Edition of its Grooves on the Green summer concert series on Thursday, July 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Green, located at the corner of Kincora Drive and Rumbullion Drive. This free event features live entertainment, family activities, and a school supply drive to benefit students across Loudoun County.
The event is held in partnership with the Loudoun County Educational Foundation and Loudoun County Public Schools' Division of Family and Community Engagement, which are collecting backpacks and school supplies for local students. Community members are encouraged to bring items from the organizations' school supply wish list to help ensure students are prepared for the upcoming school year.
Guests will enjoy live music, lawn games, family activities, complimentary ice cream while supplies last, and food and beverages from local vendors such as Tapari Momo, Uncle Fred's BBQ, Sips & Sweets, Frosty Softy, and Lost Rhino Brewery. Attendees can also visit the PINSTACK information table to learn more about Kincora's new entertainment destination.
"We hope Grooves on the Green becomes a valued community tradition at Kincora, and this special edition offers neighbors a chance to come together in support of a meaningful cause," said Dan Coughlan, President of TRITEC Mid Atlantic. "As families prepare for the new school year, we're proud to partner with local organizations that help students across Loudoun County start the year ready to learn and succeed."
The school supply drive requests essential items such as backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, binders, headphones, reusable water bottles, and other classroom supplies for students of all grade levels. Donations will be accepted at a designated collection station during the event.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, gather with friends and neighbors, and enjoy an evening of music, food, and community spirit while supporting local students and families.
