Grief Circle: Honoring grief, loss & longing
Join us Wednesday, October 2 at 11am at Creative Spirit Easton where we join in community to honor and embrace grief.
This free event is suited for anyone desiring or craving a space to share about experiences of grief.
We can feel grief, loss, and longing both personally and on a collective level; these are universal experiences that often get neglected in our culture where bereavement leave is often short and limited.
How can we decide how much time we need for grieving? And why does society (work, relationships) get to decide that for us?
Grief is different for everyone; it doesn’t come with an end date. It’s a journey and we learn to live with it alongside our joy.
Creative Spirit is a safe space for you to be in community to explore your relationship with grief.
You are not obliged to share, but you are welcome to be present with your feelings, and to listen to others who may wish to share their experiences.
What to expect:
Guided meditation & Reiki led by founder & intuitive healer Marisa McFadden, followed by healing chants & sounds led by vocalist Elaheh
Small bites to eat & tea
Gathering in circle, journaling & sharing (if you feel called to share, optional)
Marisa & Elaheh will lead a discussion on what an altar is and how it can benefit you, and how you can create a simple one to honor your loved ones.
You are welcome to bring an altar and/or share what it means to you, why you keep one, etc
