History and agricultural buffs will not want to miss this event which is free and open to the public. SEE AGENDA/ESTIMATED TIMES BELOW WHEN: Sunday, September 28th, from 2:00 until 5:00 PM WHERE: Carlee Farms, just off Belltown Road, just off I-85. This event will showcase the family effort that went into “getting in a crop” and how tobacco prospered the community, county, and the area. In case you are interested, Lt. Governor Rachel Hunt’s ancestry can be traced back a couple of centuries to Granville County. The Rev. Moses Jackson Hunt was a pastor in the Brassfield Township.
