Grand Opening of Canal Creative
Canal Fulton, OH – Canal Creative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating community and overcoming loneliness, is excited to announce its official grand opening on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Located at 311 High St NE in Canal Fulton, Canal Creative offers a welcoming space where people can gather, create, and connect through storytelling, hands-on art, and meaningful conversation.
“The Canal has historically been a symbol of trade, collaboration, and unity, and we are excited to bring this concept into the modern day,” said Alyce Obee, founder of Canal Creative. “Our mission is to offer a welcoming place where all ages and backgrounds can connect, share stories, and find a place to belong.”
Canal Creative provides a dynamic mix of spaces designed to foster creativity and connection, including:
- Pottery Studio – A fully equipped space for individuals to learn, practice, and create pottery.
- Multipurpose Gathering Space – A versatile area for workshops, events, and community gatherings.
- Local Business Partners – Canal Creative is home to a Flow & Glow Glass Studio, Asbury Counseling, and Laura Shankle Photography.

- The community is invited to Canal Creative’s Grand Opening Celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live demonstrations, guided tours, and opportunities to register for upcoming classes and workshops.
