Join us for our Open House on Sunday, October 13th, from 3:30 to 6 PM!
For the past fifteen years, Grace Garden, located behind the United Methodist Church on Anderson Road in Davis, has played a vital yet often overlooked role in our community's fight for food security. As a dedicated all-volunteer, interfaith initiative, we bring together individuals from various sectors of Yolo County to grow and donate essential fruits and vegetables. Our harvests benefit local organizations such as Davis Community Meals and Housing, Paul's Place, STEAC, the Yolo Food Bank, Grace in Action, and more.
This event promises an evening filled with entertainment, education, and a chance to connect with others committed to promoting local food security, sustainable gardening, and climate resilience. Featured speakers include Robb Davis, Assistant Director of the Aggie Compass Basic Needs Center; Sri Sethuratnam from the Center for Land-Based Learning; and Eli Sarnat, a local beekeeper. Enjoy live music from Yolo Noteworthy, and participate in our raffle for four food boxes from Good Humus Farm, along with a lavender gift set! Plus, everyone can indulge in delicious Rainbow Sherbet.
We invite you to become a friend, volunteer, or water sponsor. Everyone is welcome!
