Ken Darsney is the Manager of Gardens and Grounds for Nemours Estate, the former home of Alfred I. duPont. Ken and his team oversee the care of the 300-acre property, which ranges from large-scale French-style formal gardens to native woodlands, and everything in between. Prior to this position, Ken was the Horticultural Supervisor for the State of Delaware’s Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs, overseeing the stewardship of the landscapes of over 40 historic properties throughout the State. Ken will speak to the organization’s journey to becoming its most authentic version of itself, and along the way find the power in well-being.
