Gotham FC to Host Official Semifinal Watch Party at Legends
Women’s sports fans will gather to cheer on Gotham FC, the NY/NJ professional women’s soccer team, as it competes in the semifinals of the 2025 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) playoffs Sunday, November 16 at 3:00 PM at Legends NYC, 6 W. 33rd St., New York, NY.
Gotham FC – led by stars Rose Lavelle, Emily Sonnett, Jaedyn Shaw, and Esther Gonzalez – pulled of a stunning upset on Sunday when they knocked out the number one seed, Kansas City Current, with Forward Katie Stengel scoring the game winning goal in the final minute of extra time. This match marks Gotham’s third consecutive season in the semifinals.
The watch party will feature giveaways, food and drink specials, giveaways, raffles for swag, and items signed by players. Official Gotham FC playoff apparel will also be available for purchase on-site.

One of the top women’s soccer clubs in the world, Gotham FC has a star-packed roster that includes U.S. Women’s National Team players, World Cup winners, Olympic medalists and European and South American champions. Gotham won the 2023 NWSL Championship and reached the semifinals in 2024 after the most successful regular season in club history. In 2025, Gotham FC made history by winning the inaugural 2024–25 Concacaf W Champions Cup.
