Got The Dot Walkathon
We are thrilled that our Got The Dot Club has doubled from 12 participating high schools to 24
high schools in just one year! And we need help continuing our growth and bringing awareness
and education about organ, eye, and tissue donation as well as to honor families who have
been through the organ donation process.
That’s why JJ’s Legacy’s Got the Dot High School Leadership Program is proud to hold its third
annual Got the Dot Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, March 2nd.
The 5k walk, organized entirely by high school students, takes place at CSUB’s Amphitheater
from 9am-12:30pm! The walk is family-friendly and open to everyone. There will be food
trucks, live bands, activities and games, as well as information booths. Check-in will begin at
9am, the event kicks off at 10:30am, and the walk will begin at 11am.
Anyone who pre-registers for the event by Tuesday, February 20 th will get a FREE T-shirt,
however, day of participation is welcome. The goal this year is to get 1,000 participants!
