The Renaissance Theatre Company is at it again, serving up the outrageous, side-splitting musical Gorgeous, running April 11th through May 3rd, 2025, at The Ren in Orlando. Written by the wickedly funny Donald Rupe, this irreverent spectacle takes very loose inspiration from the cult classic Drop Dead Gorgeous—but don’t worry, any resemblance to the Silver Spurs Rodeo in St. Cloud, Florida is purely coincidental (wink, wink). Brace yourself for a wild ride through the Ms. Golden Boot Pageant (and scholarship ceremony!), where the competition is fierce, the dance numbers are questionable, and the personalities are larger than life.
