Good Life Race 5K, Youth Mile, Junior Dash
Oak Park Runners Club is hosting the 42nd running of the Good Life Race, one of the most prestigious 5K races in the Chicago area and winner of the 2024 CARA Race of the Year.
The race brings over 2,000 people to participate, volunteer, and spectate in the 5K, Youth Mile, and Junior Dash.
The Good Life Race 5K is a flat, fast road race that attracts the top runners from across the Chicago area.
The 5K and Youth Mile courses are USA Track & Field (USATF) certified.
The Youth Mile and Junior Dash promote fitness and the sport of running to the youngest members of our community.
Our 2025 charitable partners are: Housing Forward, a local non-profit passionately focused on ending homelessness; and The Collaboration for Early Childhood, a local non-profit that champions high quality early care and education in Oak Park & River Forest.

Or you can register in person at Fleet Feet Oak Park on Friday, April 4 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM or Saturday, April 5 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Giveaways: All 5K and Youth Mile participants receive a tri-blend t-shirt.
Entertainment: Oak Park and River Forest High School drumline, Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School band, and a performance by the Jesse White Tumblers.
