This isn't just another round of golf; it's a thrilling test of teamwork, strategy, and a little bit of friendly competition. Whether you're a seasoned player or just out to have a great time, this 6-6-6 format (Scramble, Alternate Shot, and Best Ball) keeps things fresh and fun from the first tee to the final putt. Open to members and public players alike, this event is the perfect mix of competition and camaraderie. So, rally your golf buddy, lock in your spot, and let’s make this an unforgettable day at White Clay Creek! Format The round consists of three distinct six-hole segments, each played using a different format to test teamwork and versatility. Holes 1-6: Scramble Both partners tee off. Select the best shot, and both players play their next shot from that location. Continue this process until the ball is holed. Holes 7-12: Alternate Shot One partner tees off on odd-numbered holes, the other on even-numbered holes. Partners alternate shots until the ball is holed. Holes 13-18: Best Ball Each partner plays their own ball. Record the best score between the two players on each hole. Details Eligibility: Open to all public golfers; full and social member welcome. Format: Two-player team event. Tees: Field will play from the Blended Tees 62 and over from the Green Tees Ladies from the Red Tees Handicap Adjustment: Holes 1 - 6 Best Ball on each hole USGA Net (Off Lowest) Handicap adjusted at: 80 Holes 7 - 12 Alt-Shot 40% of sum - selected drives Holes 13 - 18 Scramble 35% + 15% Prizes: Gift Cards to the golf course. Purse determined by participation Additional Information Cost: Public - $139 Membership - $89 Deadline to Register: August 3rd, 2025 Rules: USGA rules apply except where modified by local rules.
