Golden Gate Trail Nature Hike with a Geology Twist
Join a naturalist on a 5-mile guided hike to explore the natural history of the Tucson Mountains. Get an up-close and hands-on look at the story of the Tucson Mountain geology. Explore the interesting and diverse flora and fauna that helps make the Sonora Desert unique. This is a moderately challenging hike with some elevation gain and rocky terrain. Trekking poles are recommended and confidence on varied terrain is a must. Bring your lunch and plenty of water. Cost: Fee $5.00. Online registration required
