Global Vision Award Gala
The Global Vision Gala, hosted by Tulsa Global Alliance (TGA), is Tulsa’s signature annual celebration of international friendship, citizen diplomacy, and global partnership. This year’s gala marks a major milestone—50 years of TGA’s service to Tulsa—honoring five decades of building meaningful relationships between Tulsa and communities around the world.
TGA is also celebrating a national distinction: being named Best Overall Program by Sister Cities International, recognizing Tulsa’s leadership in global engagement, cultural exchange, and international collaboration.
The 2026 Global Vision Gala will feature a reception, plated dinner, awards program, and keynote remarks from Carlo Capua, Past Chair of Sister Cities International. The evening will also honor outstanding leaders who have shaped Tulsa’s global identity:
Dr. Robert H. Donaldson – Raymond & Nancy Feldman Lifetime Achievement Award
A transformative figure in Tulsa’s international development, Dr. Donaldson is known for internationalizing the University of Tulsa, helping establish Tulsa’s Sister City partnership with Zelenograd, Russia, and leading the Tulsa Committee on Foreign Relations for decades. His work has left a lasting impact on Tulsa’s global community.
Tulsa Fire Department – Outstanding Organization Award
For nearly 50 years, the Tulsa Fire Department has led pioneering professional exchanges with Tulsa’s Sister Cities, including donations of fire trucks, personnel exchanges, and shared training. Their commitment has strengthened public safety and built enduring international partnerships.
