Henrik Ibsen's masterpiece, Peer Gynt, in a bold adaptation by Obie Award winning playwright and Philadelphia native, Romulus Linney. In this fantastical classic, GINT, is reimagined in rural Appalachia for a boisterous evening of Southern folklore filled with banjos, talking hogs, and Beer Cheese. Part Mountain tale, part Norwegian folklore, and unlike any Ibsen you've ever seen.
Join us 30 minutes before each performance for a town square hoedown featuring dancing, live Appalachian music, and Appalachian favorites like Beer Cheese and handcrafted Appalachian Pale Ale.
